Role of Independent Evaluator

• To evaluate Pre-eligibility conditions for Utility at the time of pre-sanctioning of a proposal and submit it
recommendations to Nodal Agency.
• To Scrutinise Project Proposals received from utilities for availing Interest Subsidy under NEF in terms of
Confirmation regarding compliance of certain conditions and submit it recommendations to Nodal Agency.
• To evaluate compliance of Pre-eligibility conditions, Computation of marks as per Eligible Criteriaand Com-
putation of Interest Rate at the submission of proposal by Utility/borrower for claim of interest subsidy and
submit it recommendations to Nodal Agency.
• To compute quantum of interest subsidy amount at the submission of proposal by Utility/borrower for claim
of interest subsidy and submit it recommendations to Nodal Agency.
